Rebecca Troelstra
Executive Chef
Read more about Rebecca
Rebecca loves food. Her passion for food began in Spain, where she lived until she was sixteen, and her exposure to Mediterranean style cuisine has greatly influenced her approach to cooking. To Rebecca, cheffing is an art form, a creative outlet in which she combines simple and elegant flavours to create dishes that are healthy and that look as good as they taste.
Rebecca trained at the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver where she first began to gather the skills she would need to be a successful chef. Although Rebecca graduated in 2006, she is dedicated to seeking out ongoing opportunities to learn and to incorporating new ideas, techniques and flavours into her menus. Not only is Rebecca an avid learner, she is also an accomplished teacher. She is committed to sharing with clients her passion for food creation and teaching her community about what food can and should be.
